What is chromotherapy and what does it do? Plus

Chromotherapy, also known as color therapy, is a form of alternative therapy that uses colors to improve physical and mental well-being. The idea behind chromotherapy is that different colors have specific wavelengths and energy frequencies, which can influence a person’s mood, emotions, and even health when absorbed by the body. Each color is believed to have unique healing properties.

  • Red: Stimulates energy, vitality, and circulation.
  • Orange: Promotes creativity, enthusiasm, and emotional balance.
  • Yellow: Boosts mood, self-confidence, and concentration.
  • Green: Known for its calming and balancing effects, aiding in relaxation and stress relief.
  • Blue: Soothes anxiety, promotes calm, and helps with sleep disorders.
  • Indigo: Encourages deeper levels of relaxation and introspection.
  • Violet: Supports mental clarity and spiritual awareness.
What is red light therapy and what is it good for? Plus

Red light therapy uses low wavelengths of red or near-infrared light to penetrate the skin and stimulate cellular repair, boost collagen production, and reduce inflammation. It’s commonly used for improving skin health (anti-aging, wrinkles), speeding up muscle recovery, relieving pain, and enhancing circulation. It’s also beneficial for wound healing, hair growth, and even improving sleep and mood by supporting cellular energy production and reducing stress on the body.

Why is an additional red light therapy device suggested? Doesn't this model have built-in red light therapy? Plus

The built-in red light therapy is in the ceiling of the sauna. If you're serious about getting maximum benefit from red light therapy, the additional panel is much more high powered and targeted than the built-in red light.

Can I put an indoor sauna in my unheated garage or basement? Plus

Yes, these are some of the most common locations customers decide to put our saunas. However, when it is cold outside, the sauna will take longer than normal to heat up to maximum temperature.

Can I put an indoor sauna outside on a covered patio or lanai? Plus

Yes, as long as it's not exposed to sun and rain directly. If you don't plan to put it under a covered patio or something similar, we recommend getting our custom outdoor sauna cover for it and keeping it covered as shown.

What is the difference between the regular model and the Elite? (Low EMF vs. Ultra Low EMF) Plus

Just the heating panels. Otherwise they're identical. The regular low EMF model emits less than 8mG and the Elite version emits less than 3mG. If you’re not familiar, EMF stands for electromagnetic frequency and you can think of it kind of like radiation. Long story short, the less EMF you expose yourself to, the healthier you’ll be, so it’s always best to go with the Elite version if you plan to make a habit out of using your sauna, and you can afford the upgrade.
